xmoovStream Server is an open source http streaming server built with PHP.

It creates a layer between the web & your files to provide you control over them in many ways like:

  • stream Flash videos
  • force file downloads
  • logging of every action
  • hot link protection
  • hide original file locations
  • bandwidth throttling & burst loading
  • & more..

xmoovStream - PHP HTTP Stream Server

xmoovStream is a centralized server which can manage different kinds of content from different urls under a single installation.

Like mentioned, it is not limited to streaming Flash videos, it can simply stream any file type including the video player itself or a thumbnail.

The server also comes with a lightweight video player & an audio player for streaming your content.

P.S. The resource is free for non-commercial website & requires a license for any other usage.

jsFiddle is a shell editor that eases writing JavaScript code by creating a custom environment based on popular JS frameworks.

It presents an interface which is divided into 4 pieces:

  • HTML editor
  • CSS editor
  • JavaScript editor
  • and the output

You can select the framework & the version of your choice (MooTools, jQuery, Dojo, Prototype, YUI, Glow,Vanilla). Also, if there is, you can add a complimentary framework like jQuery UI or MooTools More.

jsFiddle

A great feature is the ability to save & share the code created with a unique URL generated. Optionally, jsFiddle has an embedding feature too.

It is an almost perfect platform for trying & sharing your JavaScript code without the need of a website.

What would be better is the ability to select multiple JS frameworks at the same time (also having a server-side file & an editable database would make it a complete playground).

Moousture is a JavaScript mouse gesture library, built with MooTools.

It simply checks the mouse movements & catches them if they follow any given route.

MooTools Mouse Gesture Plugin: Moousture

The library is very customizable. Variables like:

  • miliseconds mouse movements will be traced
  • interval of the number of mouse steps
  • errored movements to be ignored (in pixels)

can be defined.

Moousture DirectionsWith the help of a direction pad, new gestures can be created by simply mentioning their numbers in an order like:

gstr.addGesture([4,3,2,1,0,], functionName); would be a "u" character.

The Moousture is also compatible with most of the mobile devices (including iPhone).

The library website includes a demo worth-checking which can display a menu with a mouse gesture.

Copier une si fameuse pub, c’est quasiment un suicide créatif. Et les auteurs de ce ghost censé leur faire “un doss qui tue” ont intérêt à rester bien cachés s’ils ne veulent pas être grillés.

Sur ce cas une question me brûle les lèvres : est-ce qu’une même blague graveleuse est considérée comme beauf et “gauloise” quand elle est faite par une agence tradi et “cool” et “fun” quand c’est l’oeuvre d’une agence “virale” et branchée comme Buzzman?

“Vintage porn on 8mm. Now at Sex Cinema Venus.”

Sex Cinema Venus is the oldest Sex Cinema in the Red Light District in Amsterdam. For their special programme, the viewing of 8mm vintage porn, FHV/BBDO created an outdoor poster to attract tourists visiting the Red Light District. Made from left-overs of old 8mm sexfilms we photographed a very recognizable shape referring to an icon from seventies porn: the female bush.
