HTML5 Video Player: Projekktor
Post pobrano z: HTML5 Video Player: Projekktor
Projekktor is an open source HTML5 video player that is built with pure JavaScript but uses Flash when there is no native H.264 support..
The player supports playlists and can display the videos in full-screen.
It has a control panel which appears on-hover and can be easily customized/themed by editing a single CSS file.
For extending its capabilities, Projekktor comes with a plugin interface.
Having the great features said, we must mention that the player is not perfect yet (in alpha stage).
Considering the inconsistencies between browsers in HTML5 support, browsers may act differently while displaying the player (more details on its website). However, it is under heavy development and new features/fixes are added regularly.

Open Source To-Do-List Manager: PlanCake
Post pobrano z: Open Source To-Do-List Manager: PlanCake
PlanCake is an open source task and list manager which can be downloaded/installed to a custom location or used from plancake.com for free.
The application is fully Ajaxed, tasks can be re-ordered with drag'n drops and keyboard shortcuts are supported which all make the usage faster.
It is possible to create tasks with due dates (or not) and PlanCake can display your to-do-list inside a calendar. Or, you can reach them from the lists they are bound to and the tags they were marked with.
The application can be used in 2 modes:
- basic: to create lists with tasks for your projects or other stuff
- advanced: to implement the popular GTD method of David Allen.
If you prefer to print a list and check them offline, PlanCake can instantly generate a printer-friendly version.
The application is built with PHP (Symfony) and uses MySQL to store data.
