„Bagatelle I” is the first of six music videos produced by schnellebuntebilder for the saxophone quartet sonic.art
As unusual the production of a music video of a saxophone combo is, as
experimental is the combination of digital and analogue tools.
The astonishing and impulsive moments of György Ligetis’ composition
was visualized by audio reactive and generatively created graphics and
accomplished by hand-drawn animations. Directed by schnellebuntebilder
The video above is the first promotional spot for California based clothing company Dataset. The spot was directed by Japanese motion artist, Takafumi Tsuchiya, soundtrack by Denver, CO based DJ/ Producer Ben Samples and mastering by San Diego based DJ/ Producer/ Promoter EshOne.
A big collaborative effort for the clothing company powered by Merchline, already supported by some of the top names in the dubstep, glitch and bass music scenes.

Memories team member Rishi Sodha has created his own dream version of the Memories book. Using the stories and images we have in so far, he has assembled a prototype of Memories with an incredible faux leather embossed cover, and bound it by hand. Pushing his layout skills to the max and printing it on a luscious, pulpy paper stock, he’s created a marvellous object and shown just how awesome the images our artists have created will look in print.
Unfortunately, this wondrous creation won’t be available to buy, however we are moving on with the final version with the aim to make as much as we can for Maggie’s Cancer Care Centres. The prototype has given us loads of printing and layout ideas to hopefully apply in the on-sale version of the book.
Robert G. Bartholot is a Berlin-based freelance designer with an emphasis on photographic illustration & art direction.
He was born in 1971 in Southern Germany & became a graphic designer in Aachen. He gained experience working in Lucerne & Zurich, before he moved to Madrid to join photography legend Álvaro Villarrubia’s team. He’s been exploring his particular imagery ever since.
Beside his interest in dollish characters he certainly has a weakness for dusty shine, trendless fashion & striking gloom.
Another nice video directed by Flying Lotus, this time for Erykah Badu’s „Gone Baby, Don’t be long” from the album: New Amerykah Part 2. The post production was developed by Beeple, who were kind enough to make the C4D project files for this video, available for free!

Nexus teamed with top VFX house Framestore to create this cinematic Superbowl spot for Coke. Outstanding landscapes, beautiful compositions and well-choreographed action scenes build towards a striking yet unexpected denouement. With an extremely fast turnaround to create a 60 second full CG spot, FX & Mat began by developing all character and environment designs with a team of concept artists. Nexus then began collaborating with the team at Framestore, reaching a crew of sixty artists at one point, all taken from their core commercials crew, film VFX team, Icelandic office and freelancers. Fx & Mat: “We really wanted to make an epic film in the tradition of the amazing concept designs of the fantasy art world. We applied a painterly look to this CG film, making sure the final matte paintings retained the energy of the initial speed paintings, keeping them rough at some points. We also treated the characters and the dragon with a slight softness in their texture, in order to blend them well with the backgrounds. Despite the time restraints, this was a great project to direct, largely thanks to the amazing team that we’ve been working with. After all, how often does one get the opportunity to make a film that encompasses an epic battle, an extraordinary setting, a terrible dragon, unique furry creatures and an evil army of badasses? It was the dream project for the kid inside us, and we know the whole team felt the same way!”
