The latest from Toronto-based digital production boutique Lollipop is jrich23.org for Phoenix Sun’s star Jason Richardson and his Foundation.
NBA fans are familiar with the explosive style and virtuosity of Phoenix Sun’s star Jason Richardson – they’re the same skills that won him two back-to-back NBA Slam Dunk championships. But what many don’t see is the work Jason does off the court helping young people reach their full potential through his foundation. That was the starting point for the site.
jrich23.org invites visitors to select from a choice of balls lying around an atmospheric court, each which triggers Jason to perform a unique dunk or trick captured exclusively for the website. With over ten minutes of total content, a total of 12 shots to choose from and in-depth info on the various activities of the Foundation, Lollipop have created a host of reasons to open your wallet and donate.

Out this month on All City Records is Long Distance, the latest album from Parisian native Onra. Long Distance is Onra’s third solo album following 2007’s Chinoiseries and 2009’s 1.0.8 and marks a distinct progression for Onra as a musician and beat-maker into producing tracks which feel very much like complete songs.

Ronald Kurniawan graduated with honors from Art Center College of Design
in Pasadena, California. Inspired by ideograms, syllables, letterforms,
beasts and heroic landscapes, he slowly but surely continues to create a
visual language where the wilderness and civilization could merge
happily together. With the belief that the sublime and nuclear age
could coexist, he paints romantic environments and breaks the quiet
scene with juxtaposed imagery taking the shape of icons and letterforms.
He currently lives and works in Los Angeles where he paints
meticulously and happily accompanied by his pug Ruffles, an avid artist
himself.
