Mobilize.js is a HTML5-JavaScript framework for creating mobile websites from any standard sites quickly and easily.

The idea behind the framework is; rather than serving a totally different mobile web page, loading and using only the needed parts and displaying them inside a mobile theme (jQuery Mobile's default theme).

Mobilize.js can be used on every website, however, for WordPress and Sphinx users, there are plug 'n' play solutions provided.

It is open source and can be hosted under the website or a free-to-use CDN-hosted version is offered too.

Coordino is an open source "question and answer" application that is created with PHP-MySQL and mimics the functionality of the popular Q&A website StackOverflow.

It is built on top of CakePHP and comes with features to ease the communication and sharing of knowledge inside a community.

Once a user asks a question, the answer that is marked as "accepted" brings reward points to its user which is also the base of user levels in the system.

Tags can be added to each question which simplifies the categorization of them and reduces the chance of any duplicate questions.

Using an admin panel, the whole content and users can be moderated and there are various security features like auto-filter-spam that helps the admin by default.

WIODE is an open source and web-based IDE application which focuses on simplicity and expandability.

It is built with PHP-MySQL and has an interface that will feel familiar to anyone working with desktop IDEs.

The application is very easy to work with; it can manage multiple projects, a file-tree helps browsing files-folders where double-clicking an item is displayed in a new tab (multiple tabs, yay!).

Right-clicking on files/folders (context menu) brings options like "create copy, rename, delete or "FTP upload".

For the opened files, there are features like syntax highlighting, line numbering, auto-indenting, saving and previewing.

Also, a "system" menu displays the lists of projects, number of files in each and presents options like taking backups or archiving them.

WIODE is a multi-user application where users can work at the same time without overwriting each other's files.

If you have a web application with an API, a good documentation makes it much easier for the users to consume it and helps the service grow faster.

Swagger is an open source application that supports REST-based APIs and simultaneously solves server, client and documentation/sandbox needs.

It enables developers and non-developers to interact with the API in a sandbox UI that gives a good idea on how the API responds to parameters and options.

It speaks JSON + XML and comes with implementations in Scala, Java and HTML5. And, client generators are available for Scala, Java, Javascript, Ruby, PHP, and Actionscript 3.

It is developed by Wordnik and a working implementation can be found at Wordnik's API documentation page.

It is brought by Adobe and currently shares 12 features including the ones like CSS3 animations, media queries, web fonts, HTML5 audio, canvas and web storage.

The website is pretty interactive and comes with many impressive demos that are built by Adobe or other websites.

For each property, the browsers that support it are displayed and, for non-compatible browsers, any possible fallback strategies are discussed.

Adobe's Flash is probably having the most difficult days since its launch considering the no-iOS support and the increasing popularity of HTML5 + web standards.

A strong competitor to the Flash platform now comes right from Adobe with a tool named Edge that eases creating web-based interactive animations that only use HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS3.

There is a Flash-like timeline for building the animations and the built-in JavaScript engine used for them is jQuery.

Adobe Edge is currently released as a preview release and offered for free during that period.

Jeffrey Way of Nettuts+ has recently created a simple-yet-useful web application named Prefixr that can auto-insert cross-browser prefixes for a given CSS file.

Once a CSS file is pasted into the application, it scans all the rules and adds browser-specific ones when applicable. Simply, writing only border-radius will end up in getting -moz-border-radius, -webkit-border-radius, etc.

Best of all, the web interface is not the only way to use it. With the help of an API, it can be integrated into your code editor and can be ran with a shortcut (a how-to exists on Nettuts+).
