FileVista Giveaway – Winners Announced

Post pobrano z: FileVista Giveaway – Winners Announced

Last week, a post at WRD was announcing the giveaway of 5 x "5 user licenses" for FileVista; a powerful web-based file manager application.

The winners are selected today and announced at the bottom of this post. But before that, let's remember:

What is FileVista?

It is a multi-user file manager application that is built with ASP.NET and can be installed on your website.

The application offers a desktop-like experience and supports actions like create, delete, rename, copy, move, zip and unzip files + folders with a totally Ajaxed interface.

FileVista

With the help of a permission-based access system, groups + users can be created and they can be locked into folders with any defined permissions.

The most frequently used feature of the application, uploading files, works very smooth even for multiple and large files (can resume connections as well).

Also, it is multilingual and comes with 9 ready-to-use languages.

Winners of the giveaway

Here are the 5 lucky winners for the 5 User License of FileVista:

An Alternative Lightbox For MooTools – CeraBox

Post pobrano z: An Alternative Lightbox For MooTools – CeraBox

CeraBox is a stable and easy-to-use Lightbox-alternative that is built with MooTools.

It can display images, SWF files or any other HTML + load iframes and make Ajax requests.

CeraBox

The script can group images to be presented as a gallery where they can be browsed with prev-next buttons.

And, title tags can be used to show extra information about each image.

As a last handy feature, CeraBox can be set to a fixed size or resize itself according to the sizes of the items being loaded.

Memories team member Rishi Sodha has created his own dream version of the Memories book. Using the stories and images we have in so far, he has assembled a prototype of Memories with an incredible faux leather embossed cover, and bound it by hand. Pushing his layout skills to the max and printing it on a luscious, pulpy paper stock, he’s created a marvellous object and shown just how awesome the images our artists have created will look in print.

Unfortunately, this wondrous creation won’t be available to buy, however we are moving on with the final version with the aim to make as much as we can for Maggie’s Cancer Care Centres. The prototype has given us loads of printing and layout ideas to hopefully apply in the on-sale version of the book.

Keep track of the project over at http://www.memories.subsim.co.uk

Robert G. Bartholot is a Berlin-based freelance designer with an emphasis on photographic illustration & art direction.
He was born in 1971 in Southern Germany & became a graphic designer in Aachen. He gained experience working in Lucerne & Zurich, before he moved to Madrid to join photography legend Álvaro Villarrubia’s team. He’s been exploring his particular imagery ever since.
Beside his interest in dollish characters he certainly has a weakness for dusty shine, trendless fashion & striking gloom.
