Post pobrano z: microbians – updated
Since 2005 I stopped doing things on the portfolio. Now is time of a new start. Enjoy on desktop & iPad/iPhone.
My name is Gabriel Suchowolski, a.k.a. microbians. I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1972 but then I moved to Spain where I currently live. I currently work at Cocoe where I focus mainly on motion graphics, animation and art direction for broadcasting and advertising. And I would like to share with you my last update.
New site includes thumbnail miniatures of illustrations, new sections: SHOP & Sketchbook – and in next month new programming section with jQuery plugins, javascript libraries to download, and more.
HTML5 Reset – A Base For HTML5-CSS3 Projects
Post pobrano z: HTML5 Reset – A Base For HTML5-CSS3 Projects
While starting a web project, we usually use a set of resources like CSS-reset, various JS hacks for IE, etc. to overcome browser incompability issues.
HTML5 Reset is a project which aims to offer a base for the HTML5-CSS3 projects which covers these issues by default.
Besides the standard HTML tags, it has rules to reset the new tags like title, header, footer and JavaScript-powered fixes for IE.
The set comes in 2 versions:
- Bare Bones (stripped down to the essentials)
- Kitchen Sink (when we want the option to remove features, rather than add them)
Inside the download package, there is also a sample content provided to help you get started.

Insert Script Tags Easily: ScriptSrc.net
Post pobrano z: Insert Script Tags Easily: ScriptSrc.net
Today, it is hard to think of a web project that we don't use <script> tags; JS frameworks, libraries to fix browser incompabilities, etc.
ScriptSrc.net is a website which makes including script tags of popular libraries easy.
By simply clicking to the "copy" link, you're ready to paste the script tag for the selected library (which is hosted on Google).
It also displays the versions provided so, if wanted, you can update the URL accordingly.
Nothing fancy, but simple and useful.

Free Video-Based Captcha: NuCaptcha
Post pobrano z: Free Video-Based Captcha: NuCaptcha
NuCaptcha is a free captcha service that uses motion video to authenticate human web interactions.
Compared to image-based captchas, it is a harder-to-recognize solution for bots and can be read easier by humans which is great.
With the help of an API, NuCaptcha can be implemented into any website (sample codes provided) and there is also a WordPress plugin offered.
The captchas can be customized in means of skin, background and message displayed which helps a better visual integration with the websites.
