Post pobrano z: Life Viewed at 1000 Frames Per Second
Slow-motion video has always fascinated me. But now, with
high-definition cameras in the hands of so many filmmakers, the results
are increasingly astounding. This morning I stumbled across this reel,
put together by Brain Farm Digital Cinema.
It’s a very short piece, but fascinating to see such fleeting moments
slowed down to 1000 frames per second in crisp detail. What appeals to
me so much about these types of videos, is how they dissect a few
seconds of life and show us what we’re missing, what we’re unable to
see.
Free Crowd-Translation Platform For Multi-Language Websites: String
Post pobrano z: Free Crowd-Translation Platform For Multi-Language Websites: String
For multi-language websites, it usually gets difficult to manage the translations if the website is updated frequently and/or there are multiple translators.
String is a totally free and web-based platform for managing the language files of multi-language websites.
It enables you to import languages files (almost in any format) or start a project from scratch and start translating the strings.
You can invite any number of users and let them help you with the translation process by controlling the user-based read/write permissions.
Once the translation is complete, simply export the language-files (PHP -array, define-, Yaml, .INI, .strings -for iPhone-, Po) and that's all.
The application has a very easy-to-use interface with features like "the ability to see revisions" or "commenting for each string" and much more.

Dutch motion Director&Designer Menno Fokma launched an amazing new reel; compilation of past projects … much of which were completed at, and in co-operation with, the always-amazing Onesize. Menno’s role varied from (co-)direction to (post) production, but mostly art direction. Studio Takt did an outstanding job with the sounddesign.

Browse Data Dynamically: Compass Datagrid
Post pobrano z: Browse Data Dynamically: Compass Datagrid
Compass Datagrid is a jQuery plugin for displaying data within an Ajaxed datagrid.
It simply takes an empty table and sends requests to a server-side script via Ajax. The script provides JSON encoded data for the plugin to update the table.
The datagrid supports pagination with prev-next + first-last buttons and a listbox to select a specific page where the number of items per page can be set.
It is also possible to sort columns, hide any of them and refresh the data with a click.
The plugin can work with any scripting language (a PHP one comes with the download).
