Post pobrano z: Ligtweight Tooltips With Prototype: CoolTips
CoolTips is an object-oriented, unobtrusive & lightweight class based on Prototype JS + script.aculo.us frameworks for creating good looking tooltips.
It doesn't need any inline JavaScript coding. Using the title attribute of elements is enough and CoolTips will convert them.
The tooltips can be customized using a bunch of parameters or by CSS:
Besides the colors of background, borders & text, it is possible to set the opacity, appear/hide durations or enabling/disabling mouse follow effect.

Post pobrano z: Royal Canin: Drooling dog
We booked two billboards placed face to face, each on one side of a small street. One of the billboards shows the close portrait of a dog (of the breed Gread Dane) on a plain white background. The dog looks directly to the billboard in front of him, he has a longing expression on his face, is magnetised of what he sees. The sight of the billboard he is faced with obviously makes his mouth water: his drool drops from his tongue and ponds beneath the billboard. (We created this puddle with jam sugar that dropped from a simple installation of a canister and a tube.) On the other side of the street the viewer sees, what fascinates the drooling dog: The huge picture of “Royal Canin Great Dane” dog food!

“No buying. No selling. No slaughter.”
The actual glass in front of these posters was fractured as though a bullet had been shot through it. In the bullet hole is a coin suggesting that if you spend a cent on the illegal trade of endangered animals you may as well pull the trigger yourself.

Post pobrano z: Simple JavaScript UI Kit For Complex Apps.: UKI
Uki is a simple JavaScript user interface toolkit for creating desktop-like web applications with few lines of code.
The toolkit is fast. It uses progressive rendering, can render 30k+ lists & tables very quickly (which would normally take minutes in IE).
It doesn't offer a complete JavaScript framework. Rather, Uki is totally focused on the layout and, if wanted, can be used with any JS framework.
Uki comes with a rich view-component library ranging from slider to list and splitpane (more is on the way like tree, grid views).
The toolkit works cross-browser & presents a demo for creating the Google Wave interface with 100 lines of code.

Post pobrano z: A Layout Grid With JavaScript And CSS: #grid
#grid is a tiny tool, built with JavaScript & CSS, which inserts a layout grid into web pages & enables you to detect alignment issues in place.
It is activated with a hotkey (Alt+g) & can toggle between displaying the grid in the foreground or background.
By default, #grid comes with a 980-pixel-wide background image to provide the vertical grid lines (a 940-pixel-wide content area with 20px gutters). But, when working on different grids, you can create a new image for your guides.
Usage is very straightforward, just include the JavaScript file & CSS to your project.
